    Meeting starts at 10am followed by lunch at 12 noon. This month’s guest speaker is MPC member– Lena Coates - Life and Career Strategist At our September meeting, Lena will share the story behind her career, her journey to becoming an author, and the inspiration and process of writing her new book Cracking the Confidence Code. It promises to be an engaging and inspiring presentation. Copies of her book Cracking the Confidence Code are available through Lena's website at www.lenacoates.com, or you will have the opportunity to purchase a signed copy at the meeting on the day.   • MPC AFL Footy Tipping Presentation night

    We're pleased to announce that we're going to have our AFL Footy Tipping presentation night on Brownlow Medal night. Only members who entered the footy tipping competition are eligible to come. Prize pool for 1st ($300) 2nd ($150), 3rd ($60). Venue - Judy's house in Beaumaris. More details to come.   • Edithvale – Seaford Wetlands walk

    The Bridge Hotel Mordialloc 1-4 Nepean Hwy, Aspendale, Victoria

    Meet at the Bridge Hotel carpark - 10.00am (45mins). Gently winding around the largest remaining natural wetland in Greater Melbourne, the Edithvale-Seaford Wetlands Trail offers a tranquil escape for nature lovers and families alike. The area is an internationally significant sanctuary, providing a home to over 190 bird species, including migratory waders that travel all the way from Siberia. From the two-storey bird hide on Edithvale Road or the viewing platforms near Austin Road, you might spot sharp-tailed sandpipers, elegant black swans, or even the elusive Australasian bittern. The track itself is mostly flat and paved, making it an easy-going choice. Followed by coffee at Bridge Hotel Creekside Café at 11.00am.
