    Come and join us at the Mentone Life Saving Club's Bands by the Bay with The Jetson's Band. The Jetsons are seasoned Melbourne musicians, known for their renditions of classic dance and rock favourites from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and beyond – focusing on popular hits you know and love. I've booked us in for 20 spots for dinner from 6pm so please RSVP if you'd like to join us.   • Bobby Fox sings SINATRA AT THE SANDS

    This will be a spectacular concert that recreates the magic of the seminal 1966 Sinatra / Count Basie album Sinatra at the Sands. Featuring songs like Come Fly With Me and Fly Me To The Moon, Frank called this show 'the best performance of my life'. This presentation will be led by the incomparable Bobby Fox (Frankie Valli from Jersey Boys) and accompanied by Mordialloc Jazz Orchestra (MoJO).     Meeting starts at 10am followed by lunch at 12 noon. This month’s guest speaker – James Wall, Gardenworld Braeside (owner) Topic: How to get your garden blooming – practical hints, expert tips and inspiring advice! Meeting cost: Please note there is a $5 entry fee to attend monthly meetings, morning tea is included. Lunch: Additional cost $15 per person, please RSVP.     Werribee Park Zoo K Rd, Werribee South, VIC, Australia

    8.30am – Meet outside Mentone Life Saving Club in the carpark. Travel on City of Kingston bus and cars. 9.45am – Morning tea at the Waterhole Café. 10.30am – Elephant Zoo keeper talk. Deluxe safari (times to be confirmed). Leave the Zoo at 3.30pm and return around 4.30 - 5pm. Transport – City of Kingston minibus or by car/s.   • Prehistoric Bayside Open Day

    Beaumaris Motor Yacht Squadron 1 Pelican Quays, Beaumaris, VIC, Australia

    More than 5 million years in the making, this Open Day display this will focus on everything about Sharks including the rise and fall of the biggest shark that has ever lived - the Megalodon from our own fossil sites of Beaumaris and Black Rock. The afternoon includes displays and in-person talks by eminent scientists and palaeontologists, including world-renowned Professor John Long. This event is already sold out but we have 9 tickets available.
