How can I download a newsletter?
Our newsletter is emailed directly to all members every month.
Alternatively, you can view past and current newsletters on our website here. If you’d like to download a copy:
- Open the newsletter you’d like to view.
- Move your mouse to the bottom of the viewer window.
- Click on the horizontal three dots (⋯) menu.
- Select “Download PDF File” to save the newsletter to your computer, tablet, or phone.
Who can join the Mentone Probus Club?
Membership is open to retired or semi-retired men and women from the local community who are looking to make new friends, enjoy social activities, and stay connected.
Our club is currently full. Please join our waitlist.
How often does the club meet?
We meet once a month, on the third Tuesday, at the Mentone Lifesaving Club. Meetings include an update on club activities, followed by a guest speaker and social catch-up with optional lunch.
What kind of activities do you run?
Our activities range from monthly outings and day trips, to interest groups like book clubs, walking groups, theatre visits, and lunches. There’s always something to suit different interests.
Is there a cost to join?
Yes, there is a modest annual membership fee to cover administration, hall hire, and guest speakers. Outings and events are optional and may have additional costs.
How do I pay my membership fee and any activity costs?
Membership fees and activity costs can be paid directly into the club’s bank account. Please use your full name as the payment reference so we can match your payment.
