Mordialloc + Districts Historical Society new exhibition - Heritage Festival Sandbelt Stories of the pre-1920's. Meet outside the Old Bakery museum, in the Mentone Coles carpark.

Meeting starts at 10am followed by lunch at 12 noon. This month’s guest speakers – David Barrett, Community Engagement Facilitator, VICSES Chelsea and Phil Wall. Topic: How to prepare for winter storms and floods and what to do in an emergency. Meeting cost: Please note there is a $5 entry fee to attend monthly meetings, morning tea is included. Everybody Had a Name exhibits the expansive and tragic events of the Holocaust through human stories, powerful photographs and evocative artefacts. This exhibition honours Holocaust survivors who migrated to Melbourne and built a strong, beautiful community from the ashes of the Holocaust. We have a private one hour tour booked for 11.30am, please pay $20 (for the tour) into our bank account by Wednesday 20 May at the latest.
